Tastachio Dubai Chocolate Bar

 

Ingredients

  • 1 Jar Tastachio Cream

  • 4.5 tsp. (20g) Unsalted Butter

  • 3 Cups Kataifi (Aklis)

  • 10 oz. Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Wafers

Kataifi Preparation

  1. Melt butter in a skillet.

  2. Add chopped Kataifi and toast until golden brown (about 10 minutes).

  3. Cool completely and mix with Tastachio cream.

Chocolate Tempering

  1. Melt 6 oz. chocolate using a double boiler or microwave.

  2. Temper by adding remaining unmelted chocolate to melted chocolate.

  3. Stir Constantly. Temperature range 122-131 degrees.

Assembly

  1. Use silicone chocolate bar molds.

  2. Paint mold interiors with melted chocolate and chill to set.

  3. Add Tastachio-Kataifi filling.

  4. Top with remaining chocolate.

  5. Chill for 30-40 minutes before removing from mold.
